We are an Ohio-based non-profit organization. PSFC goal is to service the needs of children internationally. Our organization was founded in 2004 in Cleveland Ohio by native Liberian Ms. Janjay S. Davis-Bass and friends of Liberia in the United States.

History

As Ms. Davis-Bass watched the conditions in Liberia deteriorate during the fourteen years of civil war, she was moved to do something to alleviate the plight of those who had suffered the most - children, orphans, and those with physical and mental disabilities. "For five years I wrestled with what could be done to assist these forgotten children. Not knowing what would become them, unwilling to accept their growing up illiterate, I was determined to do something. With the unselfish love of my friends, I founded Plant a Seed for a Child, Inc., in order to give Liberian Children the chance to achieve their dreams."
